White colour always symbolises purity and sanity. It denoted freshness, simplicity and a fresh start. So, almost everyone prefers white floorings, white countertops, and white wall colourings. Most kitchen countertops are made of white marble, granite, quartz, soapstone etc. Each of them has its specific cleaning and maintenance requirements. But, it has a major drawback. It is difficult to maintain the stark white look if not cleaned regularly. And, you have to keep it clean, to make it look the same pure white for ages. This is because if you skip cleaning for one or two days, dust may pile up and generally it becomes yellowish or reddish. Thus, delivering a dirty look to your kitchen or room.

Prefer using the Right cleaning products

A natural and popular way of cleaning is vinegar and baking soda mix. In two cups of moderately warm water add one cup of vinegar and one tablespoon of baking soda. Then, take a clean mop, dip it in the mixture and use it to clean the white surface. Use it at least once in month. This helps to pull out dirt build-ups from the pores of the surface.
Otherwise, you can also use bleach to clean the surface. But, frequent use of bleach corrodes the surface and makes it rough. But, if there is a white sink in your kitchen, you must always use bleach to clean it. Then rinse the sink with warm water.
Methods to clean up spills
With occasional cleaning using the above methods, routine cleaning is also very important. Use mild dishwashing detergent or a soft soap to clean up normal spills. Since quartz is largely stain-resistant, it requires a very nominal cleaning. It can be easily washed with mild soap and water. For heavy stains use a glass cleaner and a non-abrasive sponge.
